Since its founding, the Minneapolis Police Museum has been housed in temporary donated spaces. We have been tremendously grateful for the hospitality extended to us by our many landlords.

The uncertainty and costs of moving our collection every year or two as leases expire, buildings are sold or the space loaned to us is needed for other purposes takes its toll.

We understand that to preserve and grow our collection and to offer the public the educational programs we are keen to share, we must make a permanent home for ourselves.

We are excited to share our intention to buy a space for the Minneapolis Police Museum and are asking for your generous support to our funding campaign to make this dream a reality!
